Part of a four-book series, this Beyond The Code 3 workbook helps students develop important comprehension and thinking skills at the earliest level, and also can be accommodated after having completed Explode The Code Book 3 (sold separately), which follows the same phonetic structure. Content is covered through 5 engaging illustrated stories (which include the titles Kids Need Pets, What's the Fuss?, Day Care for Dogs, A Fish That Can Fly!, and Kate and the Ten-Speed Bike), with the following skills addressed in activities that follow each story: spelling patterns, sight words, vocabulary development, sequencing, categorizing, following direction, critical thinking, story recall, inferential thinking, rhyming words, multi-syllabic words, and matching sentences to pictures.
